Overview: Tumor Treatment Volumes Module

This introductory module describes the basic terminology used for radiotherapy treatment planning. The identification and delineation of tumor treatment volumes and normal tissues considered at risk for radiation injury, the associated terminology and definitions, and the history and conceptual framework for these terms are discussed. In addition, the various tumor treatment volumes are illustrated graphically using “real world” patient cases.
