Example In this example, the dark purple area encompasses the parotid gland, one of the normal tissue OARs (Organs at Risk) for radiation injury. The light purple color is a contour of the spinal cord, a second OAR. The yellow shading indicates the GTV, again with the GTV consisting of two non-contiguous regions. The red area encompasses the CTV, and the light blue area the PTV.
