Lesson: Whole Brain Module

The 1st image above shows the approximate coverage of a C2 Whole Brain. The 2nd image depicts the coverage of an SSD or an SAD set up. All three of the set-ups use two lateral beams for set-up. (* Sometimes the gantry is rotated a few degrees away from true laterals to help avoid dose from diverging into the eyes. For this lesson we will only use true laterals).
The borders for the SSD and the SAD Whole Brain are the same. Typically flash is given around the skull on the Superior, Anterior and Posterior sides, and the orbital ridge and the mastoid tip are covered for the Inferior border.
