Lesson: Lung Module
Common treatment fields for lung cancer are initial AP/PA fields; followed by an off-cord boost. The off-cord boost is necessary to keep the spinal cord dose under the tolerance levels. Sometimes, we treat all four fields at once. Laterals are often not used because they will treat too much virgin lung.
