Assignement: Whole Brain Module
For each of the following cases, calculate the necessary number of MU’s by using the given data and the 2D-Mu Calculator. Click on the “Whole Brain” tab at the bottom of the calculator to get the Image on the calculator. Note: if this is an SSD set-up, fill in “100” where it asks for the SSD. Then in the Depth section, put half the thickness (IFD). This will give you a calculation point that is midplane. If this is an SAD set-up, then you must subtract half of the thickness from 100 (the isocenter distance) to get the proper SSD. Then in the depth section, put ½ of the thickness.
