Recognizing what makes a good treatment plan is essential. So we will start by looking at dose lines in various situations.

The image below represents what a breast cancer treatment plan might look like before any modification has begun. Notice that the high dose lines are at to top, or anterior part of the breast. This is because IFD (Inner Field Distance) or thickness, is at it's thinnest at that point.
