Lesson: Tumor Treatment Volumes
Below are the definitions of the Volumes per the ICRU 50 & 62. TV (Treated Volume) – The TV is an isodose surface, selected and specified by the radiation oncologist as being appropriate to achieve the purpose of treatment (e.g., tumor eradication or palliation of symptoms).
